I recently experienced one of the most awe-inspiring opportunities that I have encountered in California thus far. I had the honor of participating in the 2017 “LA AT&T Create-A-Thon,” hosted by the AT&T Developer Program. I must admit, I had no clue what I was signing up for. I expected to attend some form of a workshop where I would network with people and record a video within the facility..with an instructor guiding us through every step (LIKE GRADE SCHOOL). I was completely wrong!
On Friday evening, the organization hosted the kickoff and gave us all a chance to network and meet like-minded individuals that we may have a connection with. After some time, they introduced the event and gave us our assignment (Cues horror music). The whole concept of the assignment was to create a group (hopefully you met some awesome people who you want to work with), come up with a storyline, record and edit a short film/video…all by Sunday afternoon. In just a little over 24 hours, we had to make magic happen! How exciting right? It was invigorating and I learned so much! Check out what we came up with.
