The lovely ladies of Destiny’s Child have reunited once again, but this time the spotlight is not on Beyonce nor Kelly Rowland..the spotlight is on Michelle. Beyonce & Kelly will be appearing in Michelle’s new music video for her single entitled “Say Yes.” A copy of the song has actually been leaked which is good news for us, but bad news for Michelle. Luckily she’s not upset..in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter she said  I just hate when that happens because it was an unmastered version. At the same time, I was overwhelmed by the support.” she went on to say
I know things happen for a reason. I don’t want anyone to think I’m pissed. I’m not,”Well Congrats to Michelle & We look forward to see how the music video turns out!
 Maya Angelou’s private memorial service will take place tomorrow at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where she served as a professor for many years. The service will be limited to family and friends but it will be streamed live on the university’s website at 10:00 AM for public viewing. Oprah Winfrey and First Lady Michelle Obama will be two of many in attendance &  they will both share a few words on the great poet and writer’s behalf.
Beats by Dre has had a crazy good year so far being as though they closed a 3.2 billion dollar deal with Apple back in March.Now, they are ready to release their latest headphones  SOLO2. To help promote their latest product, they have released a 5 minute long commercial “The Game Before the Game” featuring Lil’Wayne & Nicki Minaj. They also bring special attention to the World Cup..which will be kicking off next Thursday on June 12th.
While we’re talking about Lil’Wayne,Young Money’s president Mack Maine has released a statement saying that Young Money will all still ride with Justin Beiber…he is still family. For those who do not know, 2 videos of Justin Beiber using the n word and making racist references back when he was 14  have been leaked. Beiber, who is now 19 has been very apologetic and now Lil’Wayne and Young Money have expressed that they still have Beiber’s back.  Mack Maine told TMZ that  everyone in the Young Money camp believes Bieber’s age at the time he recorded the song is highly relevant.

 

AND Finally…
The San Antonio Spurs took over Game 1 of the NBA finals last night. Tim Duncan made 21 points and 10 rebounds leading the Spurs to the first victory of the finals…Miami Heat’s Lebron James left the game in the fourth quarter due to a thigh cramp and the Spurs took full control, beating the Heat 110-95.
The two teams will come back together this Sunday for Game 2.
